New Life for Your Jewelry - Gold Plating with 14-21 Karat Gold

Here you can have your silver jewelry parts gold plated or have worn jewelry that has lost its shine re-plated, making them look new again.
We standardly plate with 14 Karat and a thick plating of 2 microns. (DKK 28,- per gram of the jewelry part's weight).
Electrolytic plating is used, and we typically plate 3-4 times a week.

Before plating, the jewelry is adjusted, cleaned, and polished, after which they are degreased before plating to ensure the best result. The best results are achieved with plating on 925 sterling silver.

Plating on brass, copper, or other non-precious metal alloys can lead to undesirable results such as uneven color distribution, darker gold color, or areas without plating. In these cases, we apply a base plating under the "real" plating to achieve the best possible result.

We reserve the right to refuse requests related to plating. We do not take responsibility for the final result, as hidden impurities in metal alloys (applicable to jewelry and parts not purchased from us) can affect the outcome, just as some jewelry parts may be coated/lacquered/rhodium-plated or oxidized, which can prevent plating or result in discoloration.

We charge DKK 28,- (including VAT) per gram of the jewelry part's weight, plus a starting fee of DKK 65 for cleaning, polishing, and removing possible scratches. + return shipping of DKK 65,-.
